Review: Holding Court

Holding Court Holding Court by K.C. Held
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this book from Entangled and Netgalley for an honest review :0)

So I have to admit this book made me laugh especially when the main character sixteen-year-old Jules Verity would say her premonitions. I mean her friend had nailed it on the head when she called it Psychic Tourette's Syndrome or PTS for short! The stuff that came out of this girl's mouth made me giggle. I felt a little bad for her because she didn't want this to happen and than when she got her job at castle-turned-dinner-theater Tudor Times, things don't really go according to plan...

I have to say this book is a fun, light hearted make you giggle book that is a perfect read for when you need a laugh

Review: How Willa Got Her Groove Back (Willa and Finn Book 1 of 3)

How Willa Got Her Groove Back (Willa and Finn Book 1 of 3) How Willa Got Her Groove Back (Willa and Finn Book 1 of 3) by Emily McKay
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I got this book from Entangled and Netgalley for an honest review:

Ok SERIOUSLY! I enjoyed the book, really I did...Up. Till. The. Ending! I was shocked....angry....had a serious What the Hell Just happened moment! If I would have had the physical book in my hand I probably would have shaken it to see if pages fell out as it was I kept flipping back an forth on my e-reader very very confused!

So basically Willa gets a shock of a lifetime when he dad announces that he is getting married...and not to just anyone but THE Mia McCain uber famous movie star. Not able to handle it she flees the restaurant only to run into who she thinks is a complete stranger on a motorcycle. They go to this park an she tells him what happens only later to find out he is actually her soon-to-be step-brother Finn, they have this strange attraction to each other which hey to each their own right. to make matters worse her world just seems to be going downhill from there.

Anyways, near the end of the book Willa comes to terms so to speak with this whole wedding idea and than it felt like the book just ended...it was a serious WTH moment for me. I am going to go back through an read it again because it was a very fast read. I will update this after that happens

Review: Love Me, Love Me Not

Love Me, Love Me Not Love Me, Love Me Not by Alyxandra Harvey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this book from Entangled for an honest review:

Love Me, Love Me Not is a teen love story with a Romeo and Juliet twist to it. Instead of the traditional Romeo and Juliet though it is with Vilas (swans) and Renards (Foxes). and like Romeo and Juliet there is a blood feud but THAT is where the similarities really end...

Ana Vila can only transform into her swan shape for the first time after she has fallen in love ....and I don't mean familiarity love, loving herself or items, I mean REAL true love, but between the blood feud and life she doesn't have time and the only thing keeping her sane is her BFF Pierce.

Pierce doesn't know what to do he is in love with Ana and has to watch her find love. One faithful night he kisses her and of course she freaks and thinks its because of something else so now he has to show her that he really loves her and SHE has to stop the blood feud before it takes everything away that she loves....including...maybe Pierce

I thought this book had good potential. I felt it was slightly confusing because of the switching back and forth with the two point of views. Once I got past that I thought the book flowed very well.
