Review: Crazy, Stupid, Fauxmance

Crazy, Stupid, Fauxmance Crazy, Stupid, Fauxmance by Shellee Roberts
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I got this book for an honest review, Thank you Netgally, Entagled and Shellee Roberts for this chance.

First off I laughed my butt off the entire time. I felt a little bad for Cabot because his ex just wouldn't take no for an answer! I really really felt bad for Mariely for how she found out about her bf but than again the signs were kinda there....I also kept thinking she was being a little bit of a snob which to most would be a surprising thing but its true! She was so worried about how she lived that she didn't want to even give Cabot a chance at first. It was a cute book an I can't wait to see where things go with everyone in the series!

Review: No One Knows

No One Knows No One Knows by J.T. Ellison
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Thank you J. T. Ellison, Netgally and Pocket books for giving me the chance to give an honest review....

OMG! This book had so many twist, turns and just darkness...one minuet I THOUGHT I knew what was going on an than the next BAM another twist. Near the end I didn't know if I was coming or going!! It had sort of a Gone Girl vibe to it but with the characters reversed.

I would have liked to see it a little more in depth instead of just flash backs but that is what also made it intriguing. It was a definite page turner and shocker near the end, which left the possibility for another book maybe...The one thing that drove me absolutely MAD was I couldn't for the life of me understand Daisy and WHY she hated Aubrey and her mom so much. that bugged me until the very end.

Review: Sidelined

Sidelined Sidelined by Kendra C. Highley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I want to thank Entangled, Netgalley and Kendra C. Highley for a chance to read this book for an honest review--

First I have mixed feelings about this book, I liked it...BUT there were times that I seriously wanted to smack Genna upside her head and tell her to pull it out of her butt!!

I loved how her dad stood by her through it all and never gave up just like her friends. It irritated me a little bit that her mom didn't really seem there when she needed her the most.

In a way the main character was fighting a lot besides the loss of being able to play basket ball. Deep down I felt it was all about her mom. but I am glad she finally was able to get things back on track.

I admit I am curious on what happened with Ro and her gf...my imagination went a million different ways with that one....is it possible for another in the series??

Review: Discovering You

Discovering You Discovering You by Brenda Novak
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

OMG! OMG! OMG! OMFG! This book was awesome!!

This is I think one of Brenda Novak''s best YET! I am not one of those people who normally gushes over books, but let me tell you from the start you could just see the sparks fly between India and Rod Amos (sigh) I could not put it down!!
I admit I was a little upset over the situation at first because India got dealt a rather crappy hand but the book had the main male character to handle it. I don't want to say to much because I am scare it will be a major spoiler alert.. I don't know why but the Amos boys hold a special place in my heart. I like ALL the people in Whiskey Creek but...idk those boys just make you melt!

I knew Rod was smitten with India at once and like all the Amos boys once they fall they fall HARD!

Hope to see much more of them in later books. I can't WAIT for the others!!

Review: Those Secrets We Keep

Those Secrets We Keep Those Secrets We Keep by Emily Liebert
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I had my doubts in the beginning because Sloane just seemed a little to whinney for me at first. But as the story progressed I really started to enjoy it and could relate to them in a way. The only downside I could really see was it felt like the book wasn't complete. There are so many questions....did Greg forgive Hillary? Are Sloane and Eddie still together? What happened with Georgeina?? And those are just a few of them! Overall I did end up loving this book an this author was terrific on keeping me at the edge of my seat

Review: Playing Defense

Playing Defense Playing Defense by Cate Cameron
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was given to me for an honest review:

Honestly I really liked this book, it was a fast read but not the kind where things were missing more of a can't put this down to join in life kind of fast read. I do admit there were some things I did have to look up because the story was based out of CANADA but than London was mentioned so I was slightly confused (learned there was a LONDON in Canada, which I did not know) but other than that I thought it was a cute story about a girl needing to get out of her comfort zone and to do that she tutors the prank doing, fun loving, hockey player. BUT she does have her misgivings about doing this of course!

Using one of his teammates girlfriends to get the read on Claudia, actually backfires on Chris... which made me laugh because it was a typical HS thing!

You don't NEED to read the first book in the series to understand what is going on BUT you will WANT to after reading this one. Its cute, funny and brought tears to my eyes from laughing so hard!

Thank you Entangled, Netgalley, and Cate Cameron for giving me the chance to read this!
